Established in 2018 we opened our doors with the idea to provide simple, well sourced and excellent quality ingredients to the people of Liverpool.

Since then much has changed in terms of layout - we now have a full (ever changing) wine shelf and retail space at the front of the shop. However our ethos has not; we still pride ourselves on excellent service and some of the best coffee and wine in the city.

We’ve added a basement bar that is available to hire for events and have expanded into the world of cocktails. As ever, our ingredients for these are simple, focussing on the quality of spirits with the help of subtle flavours.  

The gallery space along the walls at Ropes is still ever changing showcasing photographers from all over the world with the help of 6by6.

We are proud of how Ropes and Twines has evolved over the years and the people we’ve met along the way. It’s truly an honour to be a part of this Liverpool community that’s so creative and kind.
